'A Tree for Life'
Over fifty native trees have been planted in remembrance of family members and friends through the Project’s ‘Tree for Life’ scheme.
The ornamental trees are of dwarf root stock suitable for small spaces, and are planted amongst the graves to add interest and colour and to attract wildlife.
You can choose a ‘spot’ for your tree, and the cost includes a post and strappings. An engraved plaque, which is then mounted on natural slate, to be placed by the tree can also be ordered. Species chosen include cherry blossom, lilac, crab-apple, laburnum, copper beech and japanese maple.
